Studio Ashna began in my North London home, where I started creating artwork simply to fill my own walls. What began as a personal creative experiment has grown into something I want to share outside of my immediate bubble. Inspired by my South Asian heritage, childhood and trips to India, naturally my designs have taken on this influence through the cultural motifs, patterns and colour that I use. Along the way I discovered traditional forms like Pichwai paintings and hand block printing, and fell in love with their process, symbolism and handcrafted beauty. They have been a significant source of inspiration for my work. Today, Studio Ashna creates art prints and homewares that make it easy for the modern home to include a bit of joy and heritage into their space.
